Tech Scale Up Advisors Expansion Programme
We are excited to announce the expansion of the Tech Scale Up Advisors programme by Business Sheffield, which is now available to support tech businesses across South Yorkshire. This initiative, funded by TECH SY, extends this service to Doncaster, Rotherham, and Barnsley, offering five hours of free support to tech startups. The Tech Scale Up Advisors expansion pilot is taking referrals from anywhere in South Yorkshire until 28th November 2025. Early-stage tech companies that are interested should identify their support needs and book a diagnostic meeting.

Latest updates on our Idea Validation Grants:
Planned soft launch on 9th June, hard launch at Climb25 (2nd July).
Applications are planned to run through the MyEB Grants Portal.
Applicants will have an option to apply for a financial grant up to £5k or receive support from a provider soon to be confirmed.
Make sure to circulate with early-stage founders in South Yorkshire for the opportunity.
We will be hosting a South Yorkshire presence at Climb25, a large business event in Leeds 2-3 July. We’ll be bringing some local representatives to take part in talks and roundtables there and have a stand for networking.
There will be another South Yorkshire Tech Summit, most likely in the new year. Dates and venue will be shared in the near future.
